Sakartvelo recommended to control inflation
It was recommended to the Georgian government and Georgian National Bank to assert maximum influence on the inflation processes in the country. As was reported by Business Georgia, relevant recommendations were given to the Georgian party by the specialists of the International Monetary Fund.
According to the Fund experts' designs, Sakartvelo will experience an economic growth in 2011, a smaller than the previous year, though.
According to the forecasts, this year, the economic growth in Georgia may comprise about 5,5 percent. However, according to IMF analysts, the main problem of the country's economy lies in inflation. This year, it may be 15-18 percent.
Annual inflation this March was 14 percent.
