Bulgaria Recalled its Ambassador in Georgia
The Bulgarian ambassador Branimir Radev was recalled from Georgia. As the GHN informs with reference to the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria Vasel Chernov, the recall of the ambassador is related to the disclosure of the fact of his co-operation with security services during the period of the communist regime in the country.
Apart from Branimir Radev, Bulgaria recalled its ambassadors from ten more countries, including Byelorussia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, Lithuania, Macedonia, Romania, Greece, Serbia, Sweden and China.
The ambassadors were recalled from such international organizations as the UN and UNESCO.
According to the reports of the Bulgarian foreign office, 35 ambassadors were recalled in total.
Branimir Radev had worked as an ambassador in Sakartvelo from 2007.
