As the GHN reports with reference to Interfax, the Russian politician made this statement commenting on the information received before running that the American Senate is going to consider the draft resolution on the territorial integrity of Georgia.
"So far I have no possibility to read the text of the draft resolution submitted by the two senators but it is quite easy to guess its content. So I will say that this document, maybe in a most rigid form, will repeat the well-known position of the USA on the South Caucasian events of August'2008 that is cardinally different with the Russian point of view, but this fact does not hamper the progressive and fruitful development of the relationships between Russia and America", remarked Kosachev.
