Saakashvili praised Georgian Party
Representatives of the oppositional Georgian Party were praised by President Mikhail Saakashvili for "tourism development". As was reported by Business Georgia, this was the way Saakashvili commented upon the action held bythe oppositional party in Batumi on May 14. In the opinion of the head of the state, the people who arrived at the action were mostly interested in the renewed Batumi than in the protest action itself.
"As I saw in yesterday's TV report, "one of the radical groups guided from Russia" put the people in buses as if they were to go on an excursion and took them here with an alleged purpose of holding some action. But in two minutes the people broke up for they haven't seen Batumi and they simply opened their mouths wide when they saw it", - Saakashvili stated.
He added that the people who were brought by radicals in order to hold a protest action rambled around in admiration, dazed with what they saw.
