Poll: Saakashvili’s wife and mother are most influential Georgian women
The people of Georgia consider Sandra Roelofs, the first lady of the country, and mother of the head of the Georgian state Giuli Alasania to be the most influential women in the country. As was reported by Novosti Georgia, these are the results of a poll held recently among the readers of the Kviris Palitra (Weekly Palette) Georgian publication.
For instance, 50 percent of the pollees gave the maximum 8 points to Mikhail Saakashvili's wife. In all, she got 7,15 points, thus topping the list, while the president's mother Giuli Alasania got 6,22 points and goes second.
Former Speaker of the Georgian parliament, leader of the Democratic Movement - United Georgia oppositional party Nino Burjanadze goes third in the list with her 4,41 points.
The fourth, fifth and sixth positions were respectively occupied by the majority's Vice Speaker of the Georgian Parliament Rusudan Kervalishvili (4,35 points), State Minister for Reintegration Ekaterina Tkeshelashvili (4,30 points) and Minister of Economy and Sustained Development of Georgia Vera Kobalia (4,10 points).
Former TV hostess, the Christian-Democrats oppositional movement member of the city sakrebulo Inga Grigolia with her 2,96 points took the last but one position followed by the hostess of the Imedi TV company Nanuka Zhorzholiani who scored 2,50 points in the rating.
In all, 493 respondents took part in the poll, as Kviris Palitra reminds.
