Police website for children to be created in Georgia
Georgian law-enforcement authorities have announced a tender for creating a police website for Georgian children. As was reported by Novosti Georgia, the site must be meant for kids from 3 to 13. The site should be informative, educational and contain tests, games, animation and contests in several languages, Georgian MIA believes.
Children will be able to log in on the site and download their drawings and play games on-line. They must learn to differentiate between the policemen's uniform and, say, that of firemen and rescuers, as well as to learn traffic rules.
The final date of presenting the works for the tender is May 20. The address of the children's police website is kids.police.ge.
Let us remind you that earlier, Georgian MIA started a game for adults on its website under the name of Police. The basic characters are policemen fighting criminals and taking part in the liberation of hostages, firing with criminals and chases.
As was stated in one of the interviews by head of the Georgian MIA Vano Merabishvili, the principle character of the Police is a policeman who does not kill criminals as it is typical of many other games but who "exercises legal norms in their respect".
