Tbilisi celebrates the International Children's Day
Today is the International Children's Day. In the Georgian capital, which also participates in this celebration, this day is scheduled concerts and various activities for children.
According to the "Georgia-News" with reference to the mayor of Tbilisi, children's activities will be held at the State Theatre of Shota Rustaveli, in the park named after Dzhansuga Kakhidze, in the Mushtaidi park, in a children's village "Mziuri" and in other places.
There will also be concerts: both with participation of the children's groups, as well as with participation of Georgian pop stars.
In addition, in this day Tbilisi zoo and some park amusement will open their doors for free.
Recall, the International Children's Day was established in November 1949 in Paris (France), by the decision of the Congress of the International Democratic Women's Federation.
Annually, since 1950, it is celebrated on 1 June.
