Hollywood stars will arrive for the premiere of "5 Days in August" in Tbilisi
The famous Hollywood actor, who played in the film "5 Days in August", as well as the film's director - Renny Harlin intend to visit Tbilisi and the premiere of this film about the August 2008 war in Georgia. According to the "Georgia-News", citing the press service of the State Minister for Diaspora Affairs of Georgia film premiere in Tbilisi is scheduled on 5 June.
"The premiere will be attended by Renny Harlin, Andy Garcia, Val Kilmer and others actors who played the main roles" - said a representative of the Minister of State in an interview.
Harlin began shooting a film about the war in Georgia in autumn 2009. The film will be "neither anti-Russian nor anti-Georgian or anti-American but anti-war", said Harlin even before filming began.
The main characters are an American journalist, his cameraman and Georgian families, who came under fire of the war. The role of the Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili in the film performs Andy Garcia.
Producer of this film was Papuna Davitaia, who later became the State Minister for Diaspora Affairs.
In April, the movie was shown at international film festival in Valencia, and in May - in frameworks of the Cannes festival.
