Polish military would be trained in Georgia
The defense departments of Georgia and Poland reported on their decision to deepen cooperation in the field of military education. According to the "Georgia-News", at a meeting held in Warsaw the defense ministers of these countries - Bacho Akhalaia and Bogdan Clif - have agreed on the possibility of learning Polish soldiers at the military base in Sachkhere mountain in Georgia. This proposal was made by the Georgian minister.
In turn, Clif offered to the Georgian side to send expert to read a one-year lecture course on peacekeeping operations to a military academy of Poland.
At a meeting of defense ministers of Poland and Georgia, there discussed the issue of a partnership with NATO and integration of Georgia into it.
The Georgian Defence Ministry delegation also plans to hold another series of meetings with members of the Polish Sejm.
