Transshipment of oil cargo of terminal of Kulevi has grown by 21 percent
In May of this year the volume of transshipment of oil cargo from Black Sea oil terminal Kulevi was "ncreased by 21 percent" compared to April of this year. According to the "Business-Georgia", this information was published in the press-service of the terminal. Thus, during the reporting period the terminal took 267,000 tons of 395 and sent 353 thousand 787 tons of crude oil and petroleum products.
In 2010, the transshipment of oil cargo terminal amounted to 3,6 million tons, which is a 56 percent increase over 2009.
The terminal of Kulevi is located in Khobi region of Georgia. It belongs to the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR). The volume of the tank farm terminal is 320 thousand cubic meters with the possibility of increasing to 380 thousand cubic meters.
In May 2010, the terminal has started the transshipment of crude oil. This is another step in the development of the terminal. The turnover of the terminal in recent years has increased by 3 times.
