South Ossetia puts in Geneva the issue of non-use of force
In Geneva, the 16th round of international discussions on security in the Caucasus started, as media reported.
The South Ossetian delegation once again raised the issue of developing of a legally binding document on the non-use of force against South Ossetia.
The developing of such an instrument have long been on the agenda. However, there are still no progress in this issue.
In addition, during the debate there is scheduled to discuss humanitarian issues.
"We intend to once again raise the issue of gas supply of Leningor region of South Ossetia, as well as the issues related to our missing persons" - said Chochiyev by telephone from Geneva.
According to the ambassador plenipotentiary, during the meeting they also plan to discuss the situation on the border between South Ossetia and Georgia.
The Geneva discussions are attended by representatives of South Ossetia, Russia, Abkhazia, the United States, Georgia, the EU, the OSCE and the UN.
The composition of the South Ossetian delegation includes plenipotentiary of the president of South Ossetia on post-conflict settlement Boris Chochiyev, deputy plenipotentiary Merab Chigoev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia Murat Dzhioyev, State Councilor of President of RSO Konstantin Kochiyev, authorized of the President of South Ossetia on Human Rights David Sanakoev.
