Georgia and Belarus expand economic cooperation
In the near future in Belarus there may appear a production on packaging of Georgian tea. According to "Business-Georgia", this company is planned to be opened in the framework of the recently established "Georgian-Belarusian Trade and Economic Agency". Earlier in Tbilisi there has been already opened the Belarusian trade house, and it was decided to establish a joint bakery production.
According to the Minister of Agriculture and Foodstuffs of Belarus Mikhail Rusiy, the Georgian side is interested in Belarusian agricultural machinery and technology. The Belarusian side is ready to "share experience in the design and construction of these farms. So there is the collaboration which gives the serious results" - he added.
"We have an interest in transportation through the territory of Georgia the products, manufactured in Belarus, in the direction of Asia and the Caucasus. And I'm confident that we will have to increase turnover, which is advantageous both for Belarus and for the Georgian companies" - said in his turn, Minister of Agriculture of Georgia Bakur Kvezereli.
