Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili in an interview with "The New Times" made another statement with the new accusations against Russia and Russian intelligence services. The "GHN" has quoted this interview.

"We have the absolutely incontrovertible evidence that the sabotage units of the GRU in the territory of Abkhazia and South Ossetia has prepared the group to carry out bombings in Georgia. We have intercepted many of these bombs, but, of course, some of them have exploded. Last year there was killed an officer of the Georgian Police in Batumi, a colonel, in the same way as earlier Yandarbiyev was killed with the same technology. The head of the district administration in western Georgia was killed, and again by the explosion. There was an explosion in the office of Labor, Radical, incidentally, pro-Russian party, and a woman has died. And finally, the explosion near the American Embassy.

They first tried to blow up the fence of the embassy, but blew up outside the fence, they did not come close. Then two weeks later, they have sent a second group to blow up the fence at the embassy closer. But we have intercepted them. So it all was documented by our own intelligence agencies, and the intelligence agencies of other countries. Several groups have worked here and all of them has documented everything. We held a briefing at NATO headquarters, and in principle, many people has confirmed our conclusions" - Saakashvili said in an interview.

Recall, on June 3, the Georgian Foreign Ministry issued a statement saying that "on June 2, 2011 the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, thwarted another attempt to carry out a terrorist act".

"Employees of the Department of Constitutional Security have detained the residents of the Gali district of "occupied" Abkhazia - Abesaloma Chhetiya and Tamil Beniya, who were carrying the explosives equivalent of 4 kg of TNT, with the striking elements" - said in a statement the Foreign Ministry of Georgia.

Later, the detainees admitted that an attack was ordered by the Russian secret service. Georgian Interior Ministry even called their names, it were Igor Vlasov and Sergey Kuzmin.
