Russian Foreign Ministry: Russia is ready to consider evidence of Georgia for the preparation of terrorist acts
As the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Grigory Karasin has stated in an interview with reporters, Russia is ready to consider the facts of preparation of terrorist acts about which claimed the Georgian side has claimed. The "GHN" has reported about this.
"Our reaction was predictable. We believe that this is an exercise in advocacy work. But at the same time we have told that if the Georgian side has got serious facts, figures and data, so we, as a responsible country, will consider these facts to examine them and give some comments on the matter, as it has happened a few months ago when upon request we gave our explanation in a conversation with Mr. (Giga) Boqueria (the head of the Georgian delegation in Geneva, Secretary of the National Security Council of Georgia) which we had during the Geneva discussions" - RIA Novosti quoted the words of Karasin.
The main thing that it were not invented facts and not words took out of context of intercepted telephone conversations but the serious materials, said spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry. "A certain set of materials is already in possession of Russian representatives" - he added.
