Tbilisi is going to become crammed with cameras
Additional cameras will be installed in areas with large concentrations of people in the Georgian capital. According to the "Georgia-News", the plans of the city authorities were announced the day before, during the Internet video-conference in Facebook by the Mayor of Tbilisi Giorgi Ugulava. According to him, it will be done to provide additional security measures in the city.
"The City Hall is conducting several projects in terms of security of the city. This is, first and foremost, the installation of cameras in public places ... This task is being executed" - said Ugulava.
Another focus of the mayor's office to provide security in the city is the "integrated security system of control of the city in cases of force majeure", according to the mayor's words.
To ensure this goal the law enforcement agencies of the city will be merged by a single information system of communication.
