Christian Democrats demanded the resignation of Kvezereli again
Representatives of the Christian-Democratic Party have demanded the resignation of the Ministry of Agriculture of Georgia today at the plenary session of the parliament. According to the "GHN", discontent of the party is caused, in particular, by the continuing rise of prices for meat and other food.
"Food problems in the country are related to the current management, which is wrong, and we had said about it earlier. We have already raised this issue, but you defended him. And now, when Kvezereli has promised that quality meat will cost 10 lari, recently its value shot up to 20 lari. Kvezereli has not fulfilled his promises" - said the representative of CDM Levan Vepkhvadze.
Recall, at during meeting of the Georgian Parliament in plenary hearings there also will be presented a report by the Ombudsman George Tugushi. Parliamentary opposition is going to require the adoption of a resolution on the report of the Ombudsman, on the basis of which there should raise the issue of responsibility of some officials of the country. In particular, we are talking about the Minister of Probation and Minister of Refugees and Resettlement Khatoon Kalmakhelidze and Koba Subeliani. In addition, the opposition demands to establish a commission of inquiry on the facts, released by Tugushi.
