Vashadze denied information about Georgia's intention to withdraw from the Geneva talks
The foreign minister of the country Vashadze has made a statement where he had denied information about Georgia's plans to leave the Geneva talks. No official of the Georgian side has alleged that the format of the Geneva talks could be interrupted, as the "GHN" reported Vashadze's statement to the media.
"I do not think that anybody of the officials could say that we will suspend the talks. I want to remind the statement of the head of the Georgian delegation in Geneva, Gigi Bokeria, who said that the implementation of terrorist acts in the territory of Georgia by Russia threatens these negotiations. But we are not saying that we are going to interrupt it" - said Vashadze. He has also added that "it is impossible to work with Russia in such conditions".
"We've told Russia that it is impossible to work in a situation when they are sending to us terrorists, and then they try to speak to us in Geneva" - said the head of the Georgian Foreign Ministry.
