In Tbilisi, Georgia's integration into EU was discussed
In the Georgian capital discussion of issues and problems related to the integration of Georgia into the European Union have been discussed. According to the "Trend", the Georgian side was represented by Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze, and the EU side - Head of Central Asia and Eastern Europe department of FCO Laurie Bristow.
Participants have noted the high level of current cooperation between Georgia and the EU, but also have stressed the need to intensify this process. To do this, both parties intend to sign a number of new agreements in various fields soon.
Also Bristow has a meeting with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Tornike Gordadze, who oversees the negotiation process with EU.
