Expert: Tourists in Georgia will be forced to use bushes
Well-known Georgian expert Soso Tsiskarishvili said that the state of local health services does not allow to talk about the success of tourism industry in the country.
According to the "Medianews", Tsiskarishvili said that in Georgia ambulance service is almost destroyed. "In the Georgian capital, there does not operate any of public restroom, and three million tourists are invited to Georgia in hopes of multipurpose bushes" - he said, adding that if the government plans to attract foreign visitors, in Republic is expected an ecological disaster.
"The authorities must realize that the building in recent years in Georgia none-functional bridges can be useful only if there are other terms of comfort for tourists" - he added.
Earlier, the head of the Department of Tourism of Georgia Maya Sidamonidze said that in 2011 in the country is expected a large influx of tourists. "We worked on the development of infrastructure that will improve the tourist routes and make travel more convenient for foreign tourists and for residents of Georgia who decide to take advantage of tourist rest" - said Sidamonidze.
