In Georgia, the actions, calling for the forcible change of power, can appear prohibited
According to the amendments to the law developed by Georgian parliamentary majority, in the country there will be prohibited actions, calling for a constitutional change or calls for violent change of government. As the "Trend" reported, these amendments were entered into the law on meetings and demonstrations.
"It is inadmissible to organize and conduct actions demanding a change of constitutional order and calls for violent change of power, violating the sovereignty or territorial integrity of Georgia" - was said in the bill.
The amendments also prohibit the slogans, "which are aimed at propaganda for war or violence, provoking national, religious and social discord and create a clear, direct, or substantial threat of these actions at this point".
In the first reading the Georgian parliament will consider the bill at today's meeting.
