Ukrainian investors will build new plant in Georgia
Ukrainian businessmen have expressed their intention to invest in Georgia up to 12 million euros. According to the "GHN", in the country they will build a plant for processing fruits for these funds. The plant will be built in Gurdzhansky District of Georgia, construction of building will provide the company "Apple Gift".
As expected, the plant will annually process 200-300 thousand tons of fruits. At the plant there will be employed up to 100 people.
Representatives of the Ukrainian side expect that in 2012 the plant will start processing 50 000 tons of grapes, which will be shipped to Ukraine and Europe.
"It was another big investment. We have already held talks with the company, and have decided that a plant would be built in Gurjaani, larger than plants in Poland and Ukraine" - the governor of Kakheti Giorgi Gviniashvili said in an interview .
