Baramidze: Russia does not need "Mistrals"
According to the Georgian State Minister for European Integration Giorgi Baramidze, if Russia suddenly wants to invade Georgia, it can do it so without the helicopter carriers "Mistral". As the "GHN" reported, that is what Baramidze said, commenting on the sale of Russian "Mistral". The minister said that Georgia respects the decision of France.
"France is a great friend of Georgia, but let's follow the logic. It is more a political rather than military solution. This is instrument of attack but not of defense, but against whom Russia intends to use this tool? Obviously, not against NATO, because France would not allow it in this case. Ukraine and Georgia are on the Black Sea. If Russia wanted to invade Georgia, it would have done it without the "Mistral. So I doubt Russia wants to invade North Korea, South Korea or Japan" - Georgian official said.
