The Georgian Labour Party claim impeachment to the president
On the eve in Tbilisi, in a briefing before the presidential residence, the leader of the Labour Party of Georgia Shalva Natelashvili called on the opposition of the country with the requirement to sign the resignation of President Mikhail Saakashvili.
"Political parties should declare Saakashvili national political impeachment and demand his resignation because he has commited serious crimes not once, he has trampled the constitution, he had acquired power through violence and massive fraud, he has destroyed the foundations of democracy and established one-party dictatorship" - said the labourists.
According to Natelashvili, all the parties, which call itself opposition, should support this claim. "The document will become a border between good and evil, black and white, between this and false opposition" - said Natelashvili and urged democratic countries to apply the most severe sanctions "against the dictator and his associates".
