South Ossetia is ready to improve relations with Georgia
According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia Murat Dzhioeva, his country has always been focused on Russia politically, but it is still ready to set up good-neighborly relations with Georgia.
"South Ossetia has always been politically oriented to the Russian Federation, our relationship with Russia are in all spheres of life, the Russian language is an official language of the Republic of South Ossetia, the education system, health care and social development of our economy are all connected with the Russian Federation, therefore, I repeat, one of the most important directions of our foreign policy is to further expand and deepen relations with the Russian Federation" - the "GHN" quoted interview of Dzhioeva which he gave to the radio station "Voice of Russia".
"At the same time it is important for us to establish friendly and equal partner relations with all countries of the world. An important area of our foreign policy is also the normalization of relations with neighboring Georgia, with which the Republic of South Ossetia was in a state of conflict by 2008" - the minister added .
"... Now we are ready to establish good neighborly relations, because either South Ossetia or Georgia are the Caucasian states. We are neighbors and so sooner or later we should established equal good neighborly relations between the two countries" - concluded the Foreign Minister of South Ossetia.
