According to polls 77 percent of Georgians give credence to Saakashvili
According to research by an international organization "Greendberg Quinlan Rosner Reserch" the "United National Movement" ruling in Georgia enjoys the greatest support of population among all parties in the country.
As "Trend" repotred, according to a survey, the "United National Movement" would receive 61% of mandates if elections in parliament were held right now. The second place took the Christian Democrats (13%), and another 9 percent would vote for the Labour Party of Georgia.
Other political forces have not scored a sufficient percentage of votes to pass in parliament.
It was also noted that leader of the Georgian state Mikhail Saakashvili is among the most popular political leaders. 77 percent of the respondents positively evaluate his activities. Among opposition leaders, most sympathy won the Christian Democrats leader Giorgi Targamadze - 21 percent prefers him.
In total, 1,200 respondents participated in poll.
