The Georgian Ministry of Education has taken care of needy school children
On the eve the Georgian Ministry of Education took care of the needy families of the country. According to the "Georgia-News", children from poor families will receive free textbooks in a new school year. This information was voiced yesterday at a meeting of government by the head of department Dmitri Shashkin.
"We will achieve that, despite the means of parents, all children will be able to get a good education" - said Shashkin.
According to him, students of all classes from 1st to 12th grades from families living below the poverty line will receive free textbooks, said Shashkin.
Students from disadvantaged families will receive textbooks for from the 1st to 6th grades.
Social service agency under the Ministry of Health, Labour and Social Affairs are involved in assignment of these status data.
