2011-06-29 19:54

As the "GHN" reported, today the Georgian leader Mikhail Saakashvili met representatives of the parliamentary majority - "National Movement".

The President discussed the problems and challenges facing Georgia with the deputies. He talked about important issues such as an agreement to change the electoral environment in the country.

"The goal of the president and the government is to hold elections in a fair environment and to become an example for other countries" - said the representatives of the majority.

Recall, Christian-Democratic Movement and the "New Rights", which formerly belonged to the opposition "Eight", as well as the National Democratic Party, "We Ourselves" and "Democratic Party" supported the proposal of authorities on election environment.

The rest of the "Eight" refused to sign the document of the authorities.
