Azerbaijan is preparing to introduce "electronic government"
As Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan Elmir Velizadeh reported to journalist today in Baku, Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan completes work on the provision of interaction of state bodies within the framework of the state program "Electronic Government".
To date, in the country 50 information registries are involved, most of which are operated electronically, the official said. This will speed up the process required for interaction, he added.
An important condition for successful project implementation, according to Velizadeh, is the presence of a certified center for issuing digital signature. It is already put into operation.
Another crucial issue is to create a single portal of "e-government." Work for its establishment is being completed, signed Velizadeh.
