In Tbilisi, they will discuss new security challenges
Delegation of representatives of the North Atlantic Alliance has arrived to the capital of Sakartvelo. As the "Georgia-News" reported referring to "Rustavi-2", they will participate in the conference "New Security Challenges", which will start on Thursday. The event is supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and the Department on the new security challenges of NATO.
"The main issue of the conference is the new security challenges. This question was the focus of NATO in November last year at a historic summit in Lisbon. Tbilisi appeared a home of a big event. Many participants will come here for regarding such issues as cyber and energy security, the threat of terrorism. I am glad that Georgia has offered its capital for holding a conference" - said in an interview the assistant secretary general of NATO, Ambassador Gabor Iklodi.
As expected, the conference will be attended by about 100 guests from the countries members of Alliance.
