The scandalous movie about war in South Ossetia will be shown in Tbilisi
Today, July 12, in Tbilisi, the Georgian film of journalist Vakhtang Komakhidze titled "This is the War we Won", dedicated to conflict of august 2008 in South Ossetia, will be held.
As the "Interpressnews" reported, demonstration of the movie will begin at 16:00 in the House of Cinema for free.
Recall, that Komakhidze's film caused displeasure of the Georgian authorities, because its content is at variance with the official position of Tbilisi on the conflict in South Ossetia.
Previously, Vakhtang Komakhidze asked the Swiss authorities for asylum. According Komakhidze, he made such decision, because today he can not fulfill his professional responsibilities at home. In addition, the journalist noted that the danger threatens freedom, life and health of his person and his family.
He believes that the threat from the authorities is connected with the film about South Ossetia, where he was with two rights defenders from Tbilisi.
The journalist and the studio "Reporter" have been previously making sharp stories for independent television "Caucasi" and "Maestro".
