Tbilisi will again support the photographers detained earlier
The next action in support of the Georgian photographers who were detained on charges of spying for Russia is scheduled on this evening in the Georgian capital. As the "GHN" reported, action will start at 19:00 near the Parliament.
Chairman of the Council of "Charter of Ethics of Journalists" Zviad Koridze said in an interview that representatives of the media, NGOs and ordinary citizens will participate in the action.
Recall, on the eve such an action of support was held near the building of the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In addition, the procedure of collecting signatures in support of the detainees photojournalists has started.
Recall, the other day the Georgian Interior Ministry arrested four photojournalists for allegedly spying, including a personal photographer of President Saakashvili. The fifth detainee became photojournalist of "Associated Press", who was later released.
