Azeri and Armenian journalists will be taught tolerance
Journalists from Armenia and Azerbaijan will come to Georgia with a two-day visit on July 13. As the "GHN" reported referring to the Armenian media, a trip is organized by the Institute for War and Peace Reporting (IWPR) in the framework of the program "Neighbors".
Purpose of the trip is to identify problems of national minorities living in Kvemo Kartli and Samtskhe-Javakheti - Armenians and Azerbaijanis.
Objective of the program "Neighbors" is to establish links between the two South Caucasus countries, providing them with appropriate means, information and opportunities for cooperation, creating a "common information space".
In Georgia, courses, where the Georgian journalists, public figures and politicians will discuss national and religious issues of these countries, are prepared for the Armenians and Azerbaijanians by their counterparts.
