Armenia has joined the OTIF
Armenia has joined the Intergovernmental Organisation for International Carriage by Rail (OTIF) now. As the "GHN" reported, after this country has got the right to vote and to participate in all meetings of agencies and permanent working groups of the organization.
This South Caucasus country joined The Convention on International Carriage by Rail (COTIF) on 1 April 2011.
The main task of OTIF is to ensure of integrated development, improving and simplifying the process of implementation of international rail services.
According to general director of CJSC "SCR" Shevket Shaydullina, membership in OTIF creates for the countries members its common transport space.
