Bass has visited the summer camp of training of teachers
On the eve the U.S. Ambassador to Georgia John Bass has made a trip to a summer camp for a program of civic education and teacher training center at the Free University. As the "Gorgia-News" reported, the camp is located at Lake Bazaleti.
American ambassador has met with students and teachers of the camp. "Summer camp is intended to promote the active inclusion of young people in civic life and their participation in democratic processes of the country" - was said the American diplomatic mission in a statement.
The program of civic education and teacher training is supported by the U.S. agency for International Development (USAID). It is being held in 479 schools throughout Georgia. Its goal is improving civic education in schools.
