Georgia will receive 50 million EUR from the European Commission's
The European Commission has decided to allocat economic aid to Georgia in the amount of 50.73 million euros. As the "Business-Georgia" reported, these funds will be allocated to the country during current year. This money will go to the implementation of annual action plan for Georgia approved by the European Commission today.
In particular, it comes to supporting judicial system of Sakartvelo, for resolve conflicts and situations of internally displaced persons in Georgia.
In addition, the EC adopted a series of annual Action Plans for several countries of Eastern Europe at today's meeting. It also adopted the decisions on the allocation of funds for their implementation.
According to these decisions, Ukraine will receive 30 million euros for institutional reforms, Moldova - 78,6 million euros for reform in the energy sector and the judiciary.
