In Sakartvelo, eight new hydroelectric plants will be built
Georgia intends to begin construction of eight new hydroelectric plants by the end of this year. According to "Business-Georgia", this information was announced to reporters by Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Georgia Giorgi Kavelashvili.
According to him, investors for the construction of eight hydroelectric power stations have been already found. It is planned to invest about one billion dollars in construction of Namahvani hydroelectric plant. Its construction will be carried out by Turkish company Nurol Energy Production and Korean SK Engineering and Construction.
