In Washington, a meeting in frameworks of the Charter of partnership of the U.S. and Georgia will be held
The 4th meeting of the working group on the issues of security and defense within the framework of the Charter of the United States and the strategic partnership of Georgia is scheduled for today in the U.S. capital. As the "Georgia-News" reported, deputy minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Nino Kalandadze announced about it today.
"During the meeting they will discuss possibilities in the field of defense, issues of professional military education, development of military doctrine, the process of Georgia's integration into NATO" - Kalandadze said.
At the meeting Georgia will be presented by Deputy Foreign Minister Sergi Kapanadze, First Deputy Defense Minister Nodar Kharshiladze, as well as by the head of information-analytical department of the Georgian Interior Ministry Shota Utiashvili.
The Deputy Minister of Defense for International Security Affairs Alexander Vershbow and the U.S. Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Eric Rubin will participate in the meeting from the American side.
