Eka Beselia was not allowed to meet with detained photographer
Well-known Georgian lawyer, leader of the NGO "Solidarity with political prisoners" Eka Beselia was not able to meet with photographer prisoner Zurab Kurtsikidze.
As the "PirWeli" reported, Kurtsikidze's relatives have banned Beselia to meet with arrested photographer.
"I am ready to do everything, but I need the desire of the accused for this, but in this case, his family members did not allow me to meet with him" - she added.
Earlier, Beselia reported that Zurab Kurtsikidze has made a confession on "the cause of photographers",
"He has acknowledged that he had engaged in espionage" - she said, adding that this was recorded in a case which the lawyers of Kurtsikidze had seen.
The leader of the NGO "Solidarity with political prisoners" said that representatives of the investigation had suggested the detained photographers to conclude a procedural deal.
Recall, in recent days the Georgian and the world community is repeatedly appealing to the authorities of Georgia to make the process of arrest photographers "transparent" and fair, as well as to declassify at least some of the facts of the case to familiarize the public with them.
