Georgian Red Cross receives assistance from the U.S.
Today Georgian Red Cross Society will receive humanitarian aid from the United States. According to "Trend", the director of the Department of Emergency Situations Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia Irakli Kadagidze, as well as president of the Red Cross Nana Keinishvili will participate in ceremony.
The U.S. intends to supply Georgia's inventory and facilities which is required for the country if emergencies and anticipated disasters, crises occur.
Inventory of the Georgian Red Cross ran out in 2008 and current tranche of humanitarian aid is to restore these stocks.
