In Georgia, a new political movement was formed
Today it was reported that in Georgia a new political movement called "Power to the people".
As reported by Trend, the new organization consolidates former members of the Supreme Council and the "National Movement" of Georgia. Among its members there are Irina Sarishvili, Temur Koridze, Levan Gvindzhiliya, Paata Baratashvili Tamaz Bibiluri and others.
Irina Sarishvili is the widow of leader of the National Democratic Party of Georgia Gia Chanturia murdered in 1995. In the past three years, she hasn't dealed in politics, she had previously been leader of the party of ex-security minister of Georgia Giorgadze "Imedi" ("Hope").
According to members of a new movement, they will not fight for power in the country, and for the transfer of power to the people. According to them, this means not only the right to choose the country's leadership, but also the implementation of public control under the election process.
The only way the withdrawal of Georgia from the current political crisis, according to members of a new political force, is necessity to hold free elections.
