Karasin: Russia is open for cooperation with Georgia and the U.S. on the issue of terrorist attacks
As the Deputy Russian Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin has stated on the eve, investigation of terrorist acts should be carried out without fuss. Moreover, Russia is ready to exchange information with the U.S. and Georgia on all of these matters. As reported by the "Georgia-News", Russian official has announced this information.
On the eve, it was reported that experts from the CIA have confirmed findings of the Georgian Interior Ministry about involvement of Russian secret services to an explosion near the U.S. Embassy in Tbilisi in the autumn of 2010.
Washington supports the findings of Georgian Interior Ministry about involvement of Moscow to this terrorist act.
In turn, as Karasin noted, "this publication aims to raise the second informational wave about issues that have already been discussed by Russia both with American and Georgian officials earlier this year."
"Such issues must be regarded seriously and without unnecessary hype. But it seems that it does not match the goals which is pursuing the organizers of this campaign in this case" - added the spokesman of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
"In regard to channels of information exchange on such issues - they are opened for us" - said Karasin.
Recall, official Tbilisi has repeatedly accused Moscow in ignoring the offers of cooperation in investigating terrorist attacks in Georgia.
