In Georgia, three border guards were arrested
Three employees of the Coast Guard Department of the Border Police of Georgia were detained by law enforcement bodies of Georgia on charges of misappropriation of diesel fuel, as the "Georgia-News" reported with reference to the press service of the Ministry.
Among the detainees - Coast Guard captain of II rank of Border Police Zebur Tsintsadze, master warrant officer Nukri Mikiashvili and commander of patrol boat "Tornado" Tristan Chankseliani.
"Tsintsadze has seized a large quantity of service diesel fuel under his control with assistance of Chankseliani and Mikiashvili" - said in a statement of the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs. They also said that the detainees have already pleaded guilty.
According to Georgian legislation, they can be sentenced to imprisonment for a term of seven years.
