Merabishvili: level of crime was reduced in Georgia
According to the head of the Georgian Internal Ministry Merabishvili, during recent years the country has considerably decreased the level of crime. As reported by the "GHN", chief policeman of Georgia said about this at the opening of a new police building at Moskovsky Prospect in Tbilisi. According to Merabishvili, in connection with the reduce of crime, local law enforcement officers have now "less of affairs" and they have now switched to public services.
"I am pleased that Georgia recently has decreased a crime, police has now less cases and they have now switched to public services to create comfort for them. I am very pleased that Georgia has become one of the countries in the world with a low level of crime . We have great success in the fight against drugs. I am glad that Georgia has significantly reduced the level of all types of crimes" - said Merabishvili.
