Utiashvili will be interrogated on the case of Bitsadze
Interrogation of the head of information-analytical department of the Georgian Interior Ministry Shota Utiashvili is scheduled for August 8 this year. Asreported by the "GHN", he will be interrogated on the case of the former chief of the Border Police of Georgia Badri Bitsadze.
As was told in an interview by lawyer of Bitsadze Levan Samushia, Utiashvili has already received a summons from the court.
"The Court has already interrogated the prosecution side. From this day the defence began interrogation of the witnesses. Tomorrow, August 5, Irakli Batiashvili will be interrogated, August 8 - Utiashvili who has already received the relevant summons, and I hope he'll come to the court" - said Samushia.
He added that the testimony of witnesses for the prosecution was conflicting. This will become an additional proof for defence.
"Prosecution had interrogated several persons, including an investigator of this case, as well as Gia Uchava and others" - said Samushia.
He recalled that the trial on the case Badri Bitsadze is being held daily, except weekends.
