Georgian students will not be able to become bachelor if they don't know English
According to information made public by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, starting from the next academic year studying English at the universities of the country will become mandatory. As reported by Trend with reference to Ministry of Education and Science, relevant reform will concern all accredited and authorized institutions of Sakartvelo. Since then, all students, regardless of what language they passed at admission to the university, will have to study English. Moreover, without examination of the English Georgian students won't be able to become bachelor.
Recall, Georgian leader Mikhail Saakashvili has repeatedly stressed the priority of Georgians studying English. Now it is introduced in schools from first grade.
Within the program "Teach and Learn" about a half thousands of native English from around the world, who are distributed to schools to improve the quality of teaching children English, have arrived in Georgia.
