Katamadze: Georgian radicals have no future
According to the Georgian Ambassador to Ukraine Grigol Katamadze, the radical opposition of Georgia has no future. As reported by the "GHN", Katamadze expressed such opinion in an interview to "Glavkom". As for the Georgian opposition, the ambassador said their future is bleak.
"Our opposition is various. The radical opposition, which claims that it gonna fight with authorities, has no future. Georgian citizens are tired of the radicalism. It wasn't accident that Patriarch said that issues of national importance can not be solved in the streets. We argue that we are the civilized nation that can transfer power in civilized way. Everyone, who is thinking constructively about the future, has a prospect. Composition of the next Parliament is unknown. But the local elections last year showed that current power won throughout Georgia and left competitors far behind. Those, who took the second place, had got 20 percent and they have good chance to increase it but not at the expense of radicalism. The opposition has to offer its version of Georgia. But their slogan - "They should leave and we must come" won't work"- said the Georgian ambassador to Ukraine.
