In Batumi a flashmob on support of refugees will be held
Batumi a flashmob, members of which intend to demand the return of IDPs to their homes in Abkhazia and South Ossetia is scheduled for August 7. As reported by the "Georgia-News", a flashmob, organized by the NGO "Coalition for Justice", is dedicated to the third anniversary of the Russian-Georgian war in August 2008. Action will be held at the new boulevard in the center of Batumi. As expected, it will be attended by approximately 500 people.
"Flashmob will take place within campaign "Bring me back home", which is a message of 400 000 IDPs from Abkhazia and South Ossetia to the international community. The purpose of this campaign is mobilize of society around issue of return of internally displaced persons" - said in a statement of the "Coalition for Justice".
Within this campaign there will also be held an exhibition "Artists for the return of refugees" and performances of musical groups.
