Opposition: Georgian authorities will cremate all the deads
The leader of the opposition Labor Party of Georgia Soso Shatberashvili said that the authorities intend to introduce compulsory cremation of the deads in the country.
According to VZGLYAD, Shatberashvili noted that such a bill will be approved by the Parliament of Georgia in the fall.
According to Shatberashvili, now in Tbilisi embalming the dead is canceled and a new standard according to which the deceased must be buried on the third day after death was imposed. In this case, according to opposition leader, violators of these conditions will be fined in the amount of 1-2 thousand lari.
Shatberashvili is also confident that this initiative of the authorities contrary to norms of Christianity.
