In Armenia, amendments to the law on "Freedom of conscience and religion" will be discussed
Today in the Armenian capital public debate on the bill on amendments and additions to the new law of Republic of Armenia "On freedom of conscience and religion" will be held. As reported by the agency Trend referring to local media reports, hearings are being organized by the Ministry of Justice of Armenia with the assistance of experts of OSCE Yerevan Office.
The main purpose of these hearings is to exchange views of the public and interested organizations of the country on the issue of legislative processes on freedom of religion and belief in Armenia.
Representatives of religious communities and ethnic minorities working in the territory of Armenia, as well as experts from international organizations, government representatives and prominent politicians will participate in public hearing.
