Azeri community of Karabakh establishes representations abroad
Working on establishing the missions of the Azeri community of Nagorno-Karabakh is being carried out in some foreign countries. As reported by Trend, this information was announced today by the head of the Azeri community of Nagorno-Karabakh, the head of executive authority of Shusha district of Bajram Safarov. According to him, they are actively informing the world public about the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh. The government of Azerbaijan pays special attention to this issue and the work carrying out in this direction gives the result, Safarov said.
"Ours embassies and Diaspora organizations in foreign countries are very active in this matter. We also continue our work at the international level" - said Safarov.
Recall, the conflict between the two South Caucasus countries - Armenia and Azerbaijan - in the Nagorno Karabakh issue arose in 1988. In May 1994 the parties reached a cease-fire. Peace talks under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group and co-chairing of Russia, France and the United States are being held so far. These negotiations are still ineffective.
